LE man arrested for hit-and-run

Little Elm police arrested Mark Anthony Ybarra Jan. 2 in connection with a Dec. 11 hit-and-run accident on King Road.

Ybarra, 31, of Little Elm was charged with a third degree felony for failure to stop and render aid.

Ybarra was released from Denton County Jail Jan. 3 after posting $2,000 bond.

According to Ric Salder, assistant police chief, Ybarra, driving a black 2007 Ford 150 pickup struck Jason Anthony Fabbri of Little Elm with the mirror of his vehicle in the 15000 block of King Road as Fabbri was attempting to help a fellow motorist who had become stuck.

Fabbri was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital with serious injuries but is at home recovering.
