Chamber earns top honors for website

The Little Elm Chamber of Commerce was recently presented with the first-place trophy in statewide competition for its superior Web Site Design on http://www.littleelmchamber.org at the 2008 Media Contest at the Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives Conference in New Braunfels, Texas on June 24.

The Media Contest consisted of applicants from over 300 Chambers of Commerce across the entire State of Texas.

The Little Elm Chamber of Commerce with the assistance of CKM Design (http://www.ckmdesign.com) and iMagine Photos and Art (http://www.imaginephotosandart.com) redesigned and developed a visually appealing but highly functional website for chamber members and the Town of Little Elm residents. The new chamber website also showcases all of the many benefits and great qualities that the Town of Little Elm and the Chamber has to offer.

The award selection committee for the 2008 Media Awards consisted of TCCE chamber members, marketing executives and Internet users. The Little Elm Chamber of Commerce website was highly recognized by this panel and TCCE members alike. This award is intended to set the benchmark for other chambers across the State of Texas.

CKM Design was able to customize the Little Elm Chamber website to meet the needs of the Chamber and better utilize the imagery provided by iMagine Photos and Art. There is still much work to be done, but with the continued relationship with CKM Design and iMagine Photos and Art, the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce will only get better as time goes on.

Along with professional website design, CKM Design continues to provide on-going support to the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce and staff members. iMagine Photos and Art not only continues to provide photography for the Little Elm Chamber of Commerce but, the Town of Little Elm as well.

The Texas Chamber of Commerce Executives (TCCE) is an organization of chamber executives from across the state, working together to improve the business climate in Texas, while developing ways to enhance the quality of life in the communities that they represent.
